Stayed basic on Sunday evening in Zara's sweater and white jeans. Repeated on Monday because it was convenient and fuss-free. So hard to resist this look for chill weather days. Specially if your plan  is to go out. Also you can add a fun jacket or coat, just in case the temperature goes down. XO, Danny 

Stay Ready

A few days ago, I literally pulled out all my current favorite pieces and threw them together and voilà,  I was ready for dinner with my dear friends. 

Sometimes girls take too much effort trying to look like what they see in blogs or magazines. If you ask me, I think the key is to feel comfy in your own body and in your own terms. For example, in this occasion I chose a print short, basic tank top and maxi sweater to create a relaxed outfit to go out. GIRLS, everybody can pull up an outfit like this and look great! The thing is that you challenge yourself accessorizing it with stuff that make a fun outfit of it, like I did with this amazing J Crew Panama hat and silver sandals from Bimba y Lola. 

I dare you to play with a basic outfit trying to make it more fun with some accessories :P  

BAD Girl

El sábado pasado tomé estas fotitos con un "sexy mood" que sacaba chispas jajajaja. El calor esta a todo lo que da y en fin de semana lo único que se nos ocurre a mi maridito y a mi es buscar lugares nuevos donde sirvan ricas margaritas. Este tipo de cocktail dress es la prenda perfecta para verte sexy y chic para salir a cualquier bar. No se preocupen si anochece tarde, igual el sparkly dress se puede usar si la intención es salir de fiesta con tus amigas o tu galán!

Shot two days ago strolling around trying to find a new place to enjoy good margaritas! Literally all we look for on a hot summer night in the city. Cocktail dress and some killer heels to look sexy for my hubby. It doesn't matter if the sun still up, you can pull off any sparkly dress... Specially if its to go out with your man!

El buen clima le da la bienvenida a la primavera en Richmond junto con días más largos y soleados que me hacen comenzar todos los días con la sonrisa de oreja a oreja! Esta temporada tiene un efecto super positivo en mi y es que aparte de que estoy de buenas todo el tiempo, aprovecho para remover el closet y sacar mi ropa de verano. Obvio el mejor pretexto para estrenar mi nuevo vestido de H&M! Agregué un blazer negro para darle un toque glam, junto con un par de botitas negras que según yo le daban el look mas rockero. The good and welcoming weather back in Richmond along with those sunny days that just make me feel HAPPY! For me it was also the time to start transitioning into summer wardrobe, and what better occasion to pull off this H&M dress. Added a black blazer to give it the glam attitude and some ankle boots to rock the entire look. XoXo, Danny

Coachella 2015 - Day I

La primer semana de Coachella terminó, y aunque estoy un poco triste por eso, debo de admitir que me llevo recuerdos inolvidables. Siempre es un placer venir a Palm Springs y pasar unos días con la familia, celebrar mi cumpleaños y disfrutar de tres increíbles días en el festival de música más cool del mundo. No puedo dejar de sonreír solo de acordarme de todos los momentos increíbles que pasamos. Siento que este festival encierra tres de mis grandes pasiones: la música, la moda y la fotografía... todo en un mismo lugar (win, win para mi)! Podría contarles cada una de mis experiencias en cuanto a los conciertos que asistí, como las miles de fotos que tomé y el montón de inspiración que capture de las tendencias fashionistas que desfilaban por el festival, pero como no quiero aburrirlas con mucho bla bla bla, mejor les dejo una probadita del ambiente, sin dejar a un lado el outfit que usé ese día. 

Life Round Here (Love My Apparel Collab Part I)

El día de hoy quiero mostrarles mi nueva colaboración con Love My Apparel, en donde me invitaron a crear algunos looks con prendas de la marca FindersKEEPERS. En esta ocasión coordine un outfit muy cool, usando como pieza central esta falda con doble layer. Su forma y color la hacen única, y con ayuda de un blazer estampado y una playera con alguna frase divertida, podrás crear un look muy edgy.

Little Wild One

Nunca subestimen el poder de un vestido básico y del impacto que puede tener si sabes escoger las prendas educadas para hacer de un outfit, algo divertido y original. Encontré este vestido en la tienda Madewell durante la rebajas del black friday, y después de descuento sobre descuento, termine pagando solo 20 dólares por él. Mejor ocasión no pude encontrar para coordinarlo con mi sombrero de Maison Marion Maret y uno de mis collares favoritos de Zara, los cuales resaltaron el outfit entero. El clima cada vez se siente más frío, es por eso que aprovecho para usar abrigos como este, los cuales aparte de ayudarte a aguantar las bajas temperaturas, hacen de un simple look, algo fabuloso!

Hideaway

I am swooning over this pretty much perfect high-waist print shorts by Mango. I love a good print match to create a more interesting look so that's why I decided to wear this blouse by Forever 21. That was kind of risky because the cut is special but I wanted to give it a try and I think it looks just fine. I've been wearing heels as much as posible because my wedding day is approaching so I want to be ready to dance all night long without taking my shoes off... jeje or at least, I will try!

Blue Skies Again

Hace algunos días encontré en mi closet este hermoso vestido de encaje que compré hace cuatro meses en México y decidí darle un uso mucho más casual coordinándolo con una blusa denim. Con esta combinación no había mejor excusa para usar mis botas favoritas de Jeffrey Campbell, las cuales le dan un contraste interesante a las dos prendas. Siempre trato de utilizar accesorios muy sencillos que no maten el look casual y en esta ocasión lo hice con un collar de Accessorize y una pulsera de Mango. Para darle el toque final, use mi sombrero de Zara que ha estado pegado a mi cabeza desde la semana pasada.

Love on Top

I lounged around yesterday in this cozy look wearing a crop top from Topshop and loose trousers from Mango. It's been great to enjoy such nice weather because it inspires me to play with my clothes and create many summer looks for this season. Also, I really enjoy the fact that Richmond features so many nice places to take pictures. In fact, I found the perfect spot just around the corner from our building to snap these photos... I hope you like them!

From My Heart to Yours

Summer Breeze

Normalmente siempre soy yo la que esta detrás de la cámara, pero en esta ocasión quería aprovechar la ocasión de estar tan lejos de casa, para tomar unas fotos mías en uno de mis rincones favoritos en Basel, Suiza. Muchos de ustedes no saben, pero hace algunos años viví en esta ciudad y la verdad es que me enamore desde el primer momento... no solo porque es la ciudad de donde es mi novio, sino porque es como vivir en un cuento; digo, en general Europa tiene ese toque muy particular y este lugar donde me tomaron las fotos crea un entorno bello y sofisticado (casi mágico), el cual me encanta!

El nombre del artista de la obra maestra que esta detrás de mi, se llama Tinguely y es muy conocido por el tipo de fuentes tan características que hace. Y aunque en verano se ve así de hermosa, en invierno también muestra una belleza inigualable, invadida por el agua congelada que hace de las suyas para formar figuras al rededor de ella.

Cabe mencionar que nunca había podido disfrutar tanto de este clima de verano y la verdad es que si Suiza tuviera ese clima mas tiempo no me pensaría dos veces el regresar. Mientras el sol brillaba pude disfrutar de mis últimos días de calor antes de regresar a los días lluviosos de la ciudad de México, y créanme valió la pena!


Usually I am the one behind the camera, but this time since I was far away from home, I wanted to seize the opportunity to take some pictures of me at one of my favorite stops in Basel, Switzerland. Many of you do not know, but some years ago I lived there and the truth is that I love it from the start... not only because my boyfriend was born there, but because it feels like living in a story, in other words, Europe generally has that very special touch and the place I took the pictures has a beautiful and sophisticated atmosphere (almost magical), which fascinates me!

Jean Tinguely, the Swiss artist of the masterpiece in the background, is well known for the kind of sculptures and fountains that he built during his active career. He even has his own museum in Basel, very much worthwhile a visit. And although it looks amazing in summer, the cold winter transforms it into a unrivalled beauty, invaded by freezing water that looks like figures around her.

Unfortunately, I never had the chance to really enjoy summer in Switzerland while I was living there, but the truth is that if summer lasted a little longer, I would not have to think twice to return. As the sun was shining, I could enjoy my last days of warm weather before coming back to rainy Mexico City, and believe me it was worth it!
