Coachella 2015 - Day II

Toda la emoción puesta en el line up del segundo día: Clean Bandit, Bad Suns, Milky Chance, Cashmere Cat, Duke Dumont, Tycho, FKA twigs, SBTRKT, Ratatat, y para cerrar con broche de oro, The Weeknd. Creo que este año ha sido el mejor de todas las veces que hemos venido al festival. La música, el clima, y por supuesto el street style! Creo que en esta ocasión las niñas planearon mucho mas sus looks porque vi mucha gente linda y con mucha onda.
Yo decidí irme con un outfit mucho mas colorido. Crop top de Topshop, shorts high waist de Forever 21 y botitas con flecos de Pepe Jeans..., killer combo como dicen por aquí!

¿Cómo no enamorarme de este festival? Creo que es una de esas cosas que todo mundo tiene que hacer, por lo menos una vez en la vida... Les prometo que no hay manera de arrepentirse! Amor y Paz, Danny

Hey guys! Here goes a selection of photos from Coachella day 2 experience. I think this year most of the girls planned to look their best cause I saw a ton more cute festival looks than last year.
I decided to wear something more colorful this time. My Topshop crop top was my statement piece. I styled it off with some hot high waist shorts by Forever 21 and Pepe Jeans fringe boots!

I really have fallen in LOVE again with this festival. I really think is the kind of thing you should do at least once in your life... I promise, you will not regret it! Peace and Love, Danny

Coachella 2015 - Day I

La primer semana de Coachella terminó, y aunque estoy un poco triste por eso, debo de admitir que me llevo recuerdos inolvidables. Siempre es un placer venir a Palm Springs y pasar unos días con la familia, celebrar mi cumpleaños y disfrutar de tres increíbles días en el festival de música más cool del mundo. No puedo dejar de sonreír solo de acordarme de todos los momentos increíbles que pasamos. Siento que este festival encierra tres de mis grandes pasiones: la música, la moda y la fotografía... todo en un mismo lugar (win, win para mi)! Podría contarles cada una de mis experiencias en cuanto a los conciertos que asistí, como las miles de fotos que tomé y el montón de inspiración que capture de las tendencias fashionistas que desfilaban por el festival, pero como no quiero aburrirlas con mucho bla bla bla, mejor les dejo una probadita del ambiente, sin dejar a un lado el outfit que usé ese día.

Amor...

Han pasado siete años ya desde que comenzamos esta relación y la historia de nuestra vida juntos. El día de hoy marcamos el inicio de nuestro matrimonio y de una etapa nueva en nuestras vidas. Hoy volteo atrás y me doy cuenta de todo lo que hemos compartido y por eso doy gracias a Dios por haberme permitido cruzarme en tu camino ya que gracias a eso he podido crecer como persona y sobre todo darme cuenta de lo importante que es tener alguien como tú a mi lado, lo cual me hace sentir plena cada día.

Hoy reafirmo que quiero compartir contigo mi felicidad... y es porque tú has correspondido a ese amor y respeto que te tengo.

Siempre he creído que las cosas pasan por algo y que cada uno tiene escrito un camino. Quiero decirte ante todos que mi compromiso contigo es ser la mejor versión de mi para ti, cuidarte y apoyarte en lo que decidas. Este camino que iniciamos es de los dos y quiero que sepas que tomaré de tu mano para recorrerlo juntos y compartir y crear un proyecto de vida en conjunto.

Este día es muy especial por el simple hecho que celebramos el amor que nos tenemos en compañía de la gente que nos vio crecer como pareja.

I'm back and happier than ever!! 

I didn't want it to post anything 'till I had some pics to show from our "swiss-mexican wedding". Yes, finally I got married and I struggle to find the words to describe this feeling. I just think that I am the luckiest girl on the planet :D

I want to dedicate this first post to all the people who helped me to make this day even more special than it already was.

I want it to thank Leticia Llera, who created the most exquisite wedding rings I have ever seen. It was fantastic for us to participate in the creation since Leticia took her inspiration from special interviews we had with her about our relationship and lives together.. We didn't see the final design until the wedding day and we where overwhelmed when we saw the final result. Pure artistic and creative design <3

Happy Bday 2 Me

Last saturday was my birthday, and I enjoyed a beautiful day with my friends and family. I was kind of nervous because I had such bad luck with the weather in the last birthdays celebration. But for this time everything was on my side jeje... Perfect weather and the best company to have an excellent party.

You must know that it was not all about me, my boyfriend also had his birthday last week so we use to plan this kind of parties to invite all our friends and enjoy together! I think it's fantastic and I also love it because we have a lot of friends in common, so is easy to get together.

On this occasion we wanted to have a big picnic and have the opportunity to play and have a more dynamic party. I don't know if it's because I'm getting older, but we are kind of tired to go out to clubbin'... I mean, we do this every weekend so we skip it for this celebration.

Today it's all about remember good memories and see happy and spontaneous faces... Moments that I love to capture with my camera for life. Welcome to my world people... !!!

Yolanda Rosa - Painter

El día de hoy quiero hablar de una persona que me inspira cada día. Es una persona que dedica su alma y amor a todo lo que hace. Es una artista que tiene el don de crear piezas extraordinarias de arte.

Su nombre es Yolanda y es mi madre. Desde que me acuerdo, siempre quise ser como ella... Nunca lo fui porque no soy muy buena con la pintura; pero ella me enseño acerca de la teoría de colores, las perspectivas, la composición y muchas otras cosas mas. Habilidades que uso ahora en mi trabajo como fotógrafa. Es por ella que disfruto el arte en general y por supuesto siempre he sido su FAN número uno!! 

Ella hace arte abstracto, un estilo de arte, el cual considero muy difícil de hacer porque las pinturas son únicas y cada persona puede ver e interpretar diferentes significados en ellas.

Una cosa que puede sorprenderles es que si le preguntas a mi mamá sobre el significado de sus pinturas, lo mas probable es que no sepa decirte que son... Para ella es empezar de cero y después conectarse con los colores... hasta que este satisfecha con el resultado, puro sentimiento!! Les prometo mostrar mas de su trabajo en el futuro, por ahora, aquí están unas imágenes de un día en el estudio... disfruten!

Today, let me talk about somebody that inspires me every day. That person really dedicates her soul and love to everything she does. She is a true artist and has the gift to create wonderful pieces of art.

I'm talking about Yolanda, my beloved mother. Since I remember, I always want it to be just like her... Although I never did because I'm not so good with painting, but she taught me so many thing about perspectives, color theory and composition. Skills I apply in my everyday work as a photographer. It's because of her that I enjoy art in general and of course I am her number one FAN!! 

She is into abstract art, a style I consider one of the most difficult ones because the paint is unique and every person might interpret it differently.

One thing that might surprise you is that if you ask my mom about the essence of her paintings, she most probably won't be able to tell you... Her approach is to start off from scratch and then follows the path of the colors... Till she is satisfied with the result, pure feeling!! I promise to show you more of her work in the future, but for now, here is a small footage of a typical day at the studio... enjoy!!
