Are You Around

Solecito otoñal, ese que se pone al atardecer y que hace que todo se vea mas cálido y con un contraste  casi rojo a su alrededor. Es difícil pensar que en un mes (o menos) estaré envuelta en mil capas para poder soportar el invierno. Pero hasta entonces tengo el firme propósito de salir a la calle y disfrutar de este frío "soportable", contemplando el cambio de color en las hojas en los arboles. Los paisajes en esta época son definitivamente mis favoritos, son de esos que imponen la nostalgia de un año que esta por terminar.

El look del día de hoy tiene que ver un poco con dejarse ir con el viento y definir la forma del cuerpo por como las telas se pegan al cuerpo. Definitivamente este tipo de outfits con prendas sueltas hacen de un estilo bohemio, un tesoro para la niñas que no buscan mostrar sus curvas. Soy muy fan de los pantalones tipo palazzo y es que puedes combinarlos con tops muy ajustados, así como con blusas holgadas como la que estoy usando. Perfecto para estos días de poco frío!

Este domingo decidí darle un giro a mis looks muy coloridos, optando por esta falda rosa con un color un poco menos llamativo. Los colores generalmente evocan diferentes estados de ánimo y encuentro muy interesante poder proyectar como me siento solo por la forma en como me visto. De echo uno de mis pasatiempos preferidos es sentarme en algún lugar para observar a la gente pasar y así, poder imaginar el estado de ánimo de cada uno por como su manera de vestir. Por ejemplo esta falda que me puse ayer proyecta tranquilidad y alegría, ¿no creen? 

Gave this muted shade of pink skirt a whirl on Sunday for a canal walk. Colors generally evoke different states of mind. I don't know about you but I think it's quite interesting to imagine the mood of people I see on the streets from what kind of clothes and colors are wearing. For example there's something about this pink skirt I'm wearing that I find extremely peaceful, don't you think? Besides, it matches perfect with my pastel purple hair.

Playing around with my new BCBG hat in the city this weekend. Because you don't need a special occasion to look fashion and fabulous. This kind of accessories can be the perfect statement piece to pull off  a great outfit. Xo, Dan

Matchy matchy in this sporty outfit by Adidas Originals. Always an effortless option for those days when I don't have time to pull anything together. I generally style it with sneakers but opted for heels since they mesh so well with the sporty fabric. Topped off with these amazing earrings from H&M. XoXo, Danny

Feel it all Around

I declare everyday Hat Day!! Seriously though, if there was such a day, I'd be all over it and set for success. I think it's the perfect accessory for an outfit! You can find a good excuse to wear them any time. There are different shapes and colors so you will never get bored to style them with your outfits. This Panama hat is the new gem in my collection and my favourite to wear in this season.

Flawless

After almost three weeks out I have taken the task to shoot my weekend outfits, so you know I'm still alive jeje. I feel bad that I have not had enough time to post recently. I'd been trying to discover a little bit more of Richmond... It's becoming a simple routine of spending as much time outside home as possible. Also I'm working in my new "me" jajajaja... I can't tell you more right know, but I promise you will love the new things I'm planing for this amazing platform!!

I Know Where Its At

El estilo bohemio no necesariamente tiene que ver con flecos, sombreros y maxi dresses. Tú puedes crear un estilo interesante añadiendo toques bohemios en tus looks de todos los días. Por ejemplo, en esta ocasión decidí usar unos pantalones con estampado étnico de Isabel Marant y combinarlos con una blusa denim y unos tacones que compré en mi última visita a NY. Este es un outfit muy recomendado para la ciudad y totalmente inspirado en esta tendencia de la cual les estoy platicando.

Bohemian style doesn't necessarily need to be all about fluffy hats, fringes and maxi dresses. You can style your outfit with pieces that create a boho touch in your daily look. I layered up in ethnic prints by Isabel Marant and a comfy top from Anthropologie to combine them with these amazing BCBG heels that I scored during my last visit to NY. Highly recommended if you're in need of a boho look for the concrete jungle.

I'm Good

Durante estos últimos dos meses he repetido este tipo de look muchas veces, no se como nunca hice un post con este tipo de outfit. La clave del éxito con este conjunto es encontrar un blazer divertido (ya sea con un color brillantes o con algún estampado diferente). Todo mundo tiene un par de jeans y alguna playera en su closet, así que porque no jugar un poco con este look "básico" y darle un toque chic con un cool blazer. No olviden agregar un par de tacones y lograrán un combo perfecto! Dan

Con estos días interminables de sol disfruto muchísimo reciclar cosas de temporadas pasadas; como estos pantalones y blusa de Zara, los cuales siguen siendo perfectos para cualquier día soleado. La verdad es que son dos piezas básicas en cualquier guardarropa y es que ayudan a formar outfits monocromáticos que se ven bien para el día a día. 

No se ustedes niñas, pero este verano me tiene muy inspirada!!! Un besito, Dan

El buen clima le da la bienvenida a la primavera en Richmond junto con días más largos y soleados que me hacen comenzar todos los días con la sonrisa de oreja a oreja! Esta temporada tiene un efecto super positivo en mi y es que aparte de que estoy de buenas todo el tiempo, aprovecho para remover el closet y sacar mi ropa de verano. Obvio el mejor pretexto para estrenar mi nuevo vestido de H&M! Agregué un blazer negro para darle un toque glam, junto con un par de botitas negras que según yo le daban el look mas rockero. The good and welcoming weather back in Richmond along with those sunny days that just make me feel HAPPY! For me it was also the time to start transitioning into summer wardrobe, and what better occasion to pull off this H&M dress. Added a black blazer to give it the glam attitude and some ankle boots to rock the entire look. XoXo, Danny

All Clear

Feliz cumpleaños a MI!!! jajajaja... Ya sé, ya sé, ya paso una semana, pero no había tenido tiempo de postear el outfit que use en mi cumple hasta hoy. No puedo estar mas feliz, la verdad es que pase un cumpleaños increíble! California siempre nos recibe con las mejores vibras, espacialmente cuando vamos a celebrar mi cumple :D

Fabi y yo decidimos quedarnos unos días mas después de Coachella, para disfrutar del buen clima y de la familia. Desde el año pasado me quede con mil ganas de tomar fotos por estos rumbos, así que aproveche nuestras pequeñas vacaciones para buscar uno que otro lugar en Palm Spring, para tomar un par de mis looks.

Este playsuit es más que perfección. Me encanta lo sencillo que es, especialmente el detalle de encaje en la espalda, muy cute y sexy. Aprovechando mi nuevo color de cabello, quise darle un extra touch con una mascada que use como headpiece la cual combinaba perfecto con mis lentes Ray Ban. Ya que la parte de arriba de todo el outfit era bastante llamativa, usé unos accesorios sencillos (pero muuuuy lindos), de Mani Maalai y BCBG; ya saben, para darle el toque femenino!

Happy Birthday to ME!!! jajajaja... I know, I know, it was last week, but I didn't have the time to post my outfit until today. I couldn't be more happy, I really had an amazing day! California always gives such a good vibe, specially to celebrate your bday :D

After Coachella, my hubby and I decided to stay a few more days to enjoy the nice weather with my family. Since last year, I want it to take some pics, 'cause Palm Springs has such an amazing landscapes. I picked my favourite spot to shoot some pictures, so I hope you like my look in the middle of desert.

This playsuit is beyond perfection. I just love the simplicity of it, specially the detail of lace on the back, cute and sexy at the same time. I topped it off with my new H&M scarves and my fav Ray Ban sunglasses. I wanted to keep it simple but not boring, so I accessorised it with my bracelet and necklace from Mani Maalai and rings by BCBG for an ultra feminine look!

Coachella 2015 - Day III

Coachella 2015 terminó, y apuesto que todas las personas que asistieron este año se llevan un recuerdo inolvidable! Es triste decir adiós, pero estoy feliz de haber podido disfrutar de increíbles conciertos en tan buena compañía.

Hablando un poco de el outfit que decidí usar el último día, pues podría decir que quise darle un toca mas hippie, digo, la verdad es que lo bohemio como que no es totalmente lo mío. Tenía un poco de estrés porque no sabía como quedaría con mi nuevo color de cabello; pero creo que al final hasta le dio el toque final a todo el look.

Un body color menta de American Apparel, shorts de Forever 21 y unas botas vintage lograron un outfit muy 'chella style. Añadiendo los accesorios perfectos con estos collares de Accessorize y mi custom made headpiece de Brittanny Chanel jewelry. La verdad me sentí super bien, hasta sexy jajajaja... lista para celebrar mi cumpleaños!

Coachella 2015 is in the books, and for those of you who were there this year, I bet you had a great time! It's always sad to say goodbye but I'm glad I got the chance to enjoy some days of amazing live concerts with incredible company.

 Since I'm not a Bohemian kind of person, I decided to wear something hippie hype for Day III. I wasn't sure if my new hair color would match the outfit, but at the end, I think it just gave it the extra edge.   

American Apparel body, Forever 21 hight waist shorts, and vintage boots rocked together. I finally scored the look adding some great necklaces from Accessorize and this beautiful custom mande headpiece by Brittanny Chanel jewelry. I really felt amazing and kinda sexy... ready to celebrate my birthday!   

Coachella 2015 - Day II

Toda la emoción puesta en el line up del segundo día: Clean Bandit, Bad Suns, Milky Chance, Cashmere Cat, Duke Dumont, Tycho, FKA twigs, SBTRKT, Ratatat, y para cerrar con broche de oro, The Weeknd. Creo que este año ha sido el mejor de todas las veces que hemos venido al festival. La música, el clima, y por supuesto el street style! Creo que en esta ocasión las niñas planearon mucho mas sus looks porque vi mucha gente linda y con mucha onda.
Yo decidí irme con un outfit mucho mas colorido. Crop top de Topshop, shorts high waist de Forever 21 y botitas con flecos de Pepe Jeans..., killer combo como dicen por aquí!

¿Cómo no enamorarme de este festival? Creo que es una de esas cosas que todo mundo tiene que hacer, por lo menos una vez en la vida... Les prometo que no hay manera de arrepentirse! Amor y Paz, Danny

Hey guys! Here goes a selection of photos from Coachella day 2 experience. I think this year most of the girls planned to look their best cause I saw a ton more cute festival looks than last year.
I decided to wear something more colorful this time. My Topshop crop top was my statement piece. I styled it off with some hot high waist shorts by Forever 21 and Pepe Jeans fringe boots!

I really have fallen in LOVE again with this festival. I really think is the kind of thing you should do at least once in your life... I promise, you will not regret it! Peace and Love, Danny

Hola guapas! Perdón por haber estado tan ausente, pero estuve rockeando en Coachella jajajja. Estos super entusiasmada por mostrarles todas las cosas increíbles que vi y viví estos últimos días. Pero bueno, mientras estoy de vuelta en Richmond les dejo mi último look primaveral. Prometo que pronto estaré posteando sobre mi viaje a California, así que estén atentas.

¡Estoy super encantada con estos estampados florales de H&M! Qué tal esta falda con un toque tropical, no les encanta? La puedes usar con una blusa denim o alguna playera con algún estampado diferente al de la falda, como yo hice con este top rosa. También puede darle el toque original con un collar grande para hacer del look algo más interesante. Perfecto para salir con tu marido o novio!

I'm so into this kind of floral prints from H&M! How about this pencil skirt with tropical print, don't you love it? You can wear it with a denim shirt or style it with another pattern, like I did with this pink top. You can also add some statement necklace to create a more interesting outfit. Perfect for a date with your hubby or boyfriend!

Otro día, otra falda midi. Llevo usando este tipo de look casi todos los días desde la semana pasada; y es que quiero aprovechar los días soleados, antes de que las altas temperaturas de Richmond no me dejen usar este tipo de faldas. Para darle un toque divertido use una playera vintage que compré el fin de semana pasado, con un sombrero estilo hippie de Urban Outfitters. Tip mis niñas, este estilo va perfecto con pumps o sandalias con tacón, como yo hice con estos Jimmy Choo... Ya saben, para salir a rockear con estilo! Besitos, Danny

Another day, another midi. The same style that I wore last week, actually. I'm rollin' in all kinds of midis cause once the weather gets even warmer, I would not be able to wear them anymore! Topped it off with a vintage tee that I scored last weekend and a cute hippie hat from Urban Outfitters. So Good

Estas últimas tres semanas en México me mantuvieron ocupada al máximo. Ya saben, de esas veces que tienes poco tiempo para arreglarte y que necesitas estar lo mas cómoda posible para aguantar  largas jornadas de trabajo. Una buena playera (con algún estampado o frase), siempre te permitirá lograr looks muy relajados y cómodos, sin esforzarme demasiado.

Esta vez use mi última adquisición en Forever 21, una playera con la frase "NO FOTOS POR FAVOR", y la combine con unos skinny jeans de H&M, mis botas de AllSaints y accesorios de Brittanny Chanel y BCBG.

A veces lo sencillo es más, solo tienes que saber combinarlo, y con un poco de make up, estarás siempre lista para verte bien en cualquier ocasión.

For the past three weeks, I was busy working and so I could hardly find the time to style up. Fortunately Forever 21 makes these perfect sleeveless T shirts that allow you to put together a cool, relaxed and comfy look without much effort. 

I simply styled it with my skinny jeans from H&M, some cool accessories from BCBG and Brittanny Chanel jewelry, and a pair of boots, that always does the trick.

Lovin' each Day

Se respira amor en el aire (jajaja) bueno, ¡por lo menos para mi!, de hecho, creo que mucho de esta temporada de San Valentín me inspiró a cambiar el look de mi cabello por algo más "azucarado" y rosa.

Desde hace un par de semanas, visto colores pastel casi todo el tiempo y este último outfit no es la excepción. Este look mantiene un match absoluto en estas tonalidades de las que les hablo, mostrando el mood perfecto para el día de los enamorados. Mi abrigo de Topshop y mi sudadera de Ann Taylor son un combo perfecto ya que puedo combinarlos con mil cosas y siempre se ven increíbles. También escogí mi linda mochila de Stradivarius y mis gold sneakers de Nike para darle ese toque fresco a todo el outfit.

Tuve mucha suerte de encontrar este muro para la sesión de fotos. La verdad es que Richmond me sigue sorprendiendo con todo el street art que ofrece… le da un toque único que pocas ciudades tienen.
