I know, I know..., everybody has all eyes on Milan Fashion Week right now. That doesn't mean I can post the street style photos I shot during NYFW, right? The ever changing weather conditions didn't stop the fashion people from putting their best feet forward, and even opting for white and bright colors that highlight the summer season. Lacoste SS'16

Hi there!! So, for the ones that follow me through twitter or instagram may knew that I'd have been working non stop for the last couple of weeks at NYFW. This time I was shooting photos from backstage of amazing runways, capturing some street style and collaborating with a famous fashion blogger called "The double denim". 

It's kind of hard to keep you posted cause there is so much going on that I barely had time to breathe jajaja. From Kate Spade, Lacoste, Rachel Zoe, Tommy Hilfiger, Diesel, All Saints, Rosie Assoulin and Rodebjer, I was literally jumping around the city from one place to another.

So, I wanted to show you my favorite runway that I had the privilege to cover...

Lacoste is by far one of my fav collections for SS'16. It transcended their sportswear, but didn't leave it behind entirely. It was a explosion of pattern and color block outfits, combined with prints and big logos. This season's show had a modern, sporty yet and sexy mood that I just absolutely loved!   

Electric Jungle

If your face is the body, makeup is the armor. Fierce, feminine and floral hues reminiscent of a lush electric jungle, Peter Pan's Tiger Lily is here to pounce through a techno forest floor.

Diamonds

Las mujeres amamos el brillo en todas sus presentaciones. Nos llama, nos emboba, nos seduce. No por nada los diamantes son nuestros mejores amigos, pero la joyería ha dejado de ser el único camino para deslumbrar. Es increíble ver que este resplandor se vuelve cada vez más presente en nuestro outfit o maquillaje, sobre todo en las épocas festivas (holidays). Uñas que capturan el encanto de Frozen, sombras y labios metálicos, bronzers con destellos de platino; maquillaje que evoca a la opulencia, al poder, a la fantasía, a una época futurista que imaginamos llegará en algún momento. Si pudiéramos, tal vez nos daríamos baños de oro, pues no es nuevo ver que más productos de belleza contienen minerales en su fórmula. En la moda, los vestidos y stilettos de red carpets han sobresalido precisamente por las incrustaciones de cristales, espejos y otros materiales que los vuelven irresistibles. Así, imposible que pasen inadvertidos, pues además, opaca al resto. Lo importante es recordar que la capacidad de hacer que la luz irradie está en ti, pero por supuesto que una ayudada nunca está de más.

Met Gala 2015

The Met Gala is always an epic parade of chic look after chic look. This year was not the exception. "China: Through the Looking Glass" was this year's theme. Printing almost in every gown, a lot of embellished floral motifs, touches of red and sparkles. 
Here are my best dresses of the night... BTW, sorry girls, Beyoncé and Rihanna couldn't fit in my red carpet queens this year.

H&M Studio's Spring/Summer 2015 collection is now available!! The collection was inspired by the laid-back lifestyle of Miami and Palm Springs featuring mesmerising prints and athletic influences creating a glamorous and effortless look for this season.

ALEXANDER WANG PRE-FALL 2015

Finally I found time to talk about Alexander Wang latest pre-fall 2015 collection. I consider myself a "tomboy look" lover, and maybe that is one of the reasons I'm so addicted to Alexander's work. I love how he creates such a incredible mix of sexy, messy attitude, with a sporty side in every collection; it's like he borrowed some boy qualities to add the special touch on his lady designs. I'm just in love with all his work and his latest collection is no exception. Check out my fav looks!

 Last but not least... my favorite moment of the night, our first dance!! It was so magical that I cannot find the words to describe how amazing it was. I had to wait 7 years to have my first slow dance jajajaja..., yes many years I know, but the wait was worth every second, specially when we were looking into each others eyes. In this very moment, I felt like I was the prettiest girl in the world jeje... but most importantly, I felt the happiest and luckiest girl to found someone like you, mi guapito!

Amor...

Han pasado siete años ya desde que comenzamos esta relación y la historia de nuestra vida juntos. El día de hoy marcamos el inicio de nuestro matrimonio y de una etapa nueva en nuestras vidas. Hoy volteo atrás y me doy cuenta de todo lo que hemos compartido y por eso doy gracias a Dios por haberme permitido cruzarme en tu camino ya que gracias a eso he podido crecer como persona y sobre todo darme cuenta de lo importante que es tener alguien como tú a mi lado, lo cual me hace sentir plena cada día.

Hoy reafirmo que quiero compartir contigo mi felicidad... y es porque tú has correspondido a ese amor y respeto que te tengo.

Siempre he creído que las cosas pasan por algo y que cada uno tiene escrito un camino. Quiero decirte ante todos que mi compromiso contigo es ser la mejor versión de mi para ti, cuidarte y apoyarte en lo que decidas. Este camino que iniciamos es de los dos y quiero que sepas que tomaré de tu mano para recorrerlo juntos y compartir y crear un proyecto de vida en conjunto.

Este día es muy especial por el simple hecho que celebramos el amor que nos tenemos en compañía de la gente que nos vio crecer como pareja.

I'm back and happier than ever!! 

I didn't want it to post anything 'till I had some pics to show from our "swiss-mexican wedding". Yes, finally I got married and I struggle to find the words to describe this feeling. I just think that I am the luckiest girl on the planet :D

I want to dedicate this first post to all the people who helped me to make this day even more special than it already was.

I want it to thank Leticia Llera, who created the most exquisite wedding rings I have ever seen. It was fantastic for us to participate in the creation since Leticia took her inspiration from special interviews we had with her about our relationship and lives together.. We didn't see the final design until the wedding day and we where overwhelmed when we saw the final result. Pure artistic and creative design <3

Altuzarra Collection for Target

This has to be one of the best collaboration collection for Target. The collection is a mix of sexy business and evening wear with prices ranging from $18 to $90 dollars. The Altuzarra collection will also feature heels and boots just in time for the new season. This limited collection is one that you don't want to miss. Altuzarra will be adding suits, python prints, maxi dress, over knee boots, blouses, pencil skirts and so much more.
The collection will be available online at Target online and select Target stores September 14th, so be ready to mark it on your calendar.

Odisea

Prefall 2014 is here and fashion editorials already started to show what this season will bring. #TheSeptemberIssue will show all the best campaigns and editorials with new awesome trends to follow.

It's been a while I have not posted about editorials that inspire me for my work. So, that is why I wanted to choose a special one to share with you. In the August issue from Harper's Bazaar Mexico I found an incredible editorial shot by Danny Cardozo called "ODISEA".

Graphic polka dots, unexpected pleats and abstract geometric digital prints gave FENDI's Resort 2015 collection an awesome look. On this occasion, the brand kept in its domain furs, leather, deep jewel tones adding a refreshing spin through pattern and accessories. I simply love every single detail from this collection or what do you think about it?... is it great or what?

FERZU - PORCELANA SS'14

  
No había tenido la oportunidad de compartirles el último trabajo que hice en México antes de mudarme a Estados Unidos. En post anteriores había hablado de ella, inclusive pude entrevistarla para poder entender más sobre sus inspiraciones y sus diseños. Para los que todavía no la conocen pues aquí se las presento, su nombre es Fernanda Zuñiga y es la creadora de los accesorios FERZU. 
Para poder presentar su última colección "Porcelana" Primavera-Verano 2014, Fer quiso plasmar una imagen con un toque de femineidad en tonos pasteles,... ya saben, para aquellas que les gusta verse y sentirse como princesas. La verdad es que disfrute mucho ser parte del proyecto y poder hacer estas fotos junto con ella y ver el resultado final tal cual no la imaginábamos.
