Colette Sweet Fifteen

Colette is a Parisian boutique and is turning fifteen years! I know the store because of my cousin that lives in Paris and she has been a fan since ever.
To celebrate this aniversary, Craig Redman made 150 illustrations of Colette friends and collaborators in the shape of his alter ego Darcel. This personalities involved fashion icons, photographers, designers and musicians. In this iconic list you can find twin sisters Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Yves Saint Laurent, Karl Lagerfeld, Anna Wintour, Bill Cunningham, Marc Jacobs, André Leon Talley, and so many others.

Simple pero hermoso... el minimalismo y la moda van perfectamente juntas. Es tan impresionante cuando ves este tipo de fotos y te puedes enamorar en ese mismo momento de la imagen y de la ropa. Simplemente irresistible!

Simple but beautiful... minimalism and fashion go together perfectly. It is really stunning when you see these kind of pictures and you immediately start to fall in love with the photo and the clothes.  Just irresistible!

Festival 100 Vinos Mexicanos

El fin de semana pasado me invitaron a tomar fotos al "Festival 100 Vinos Mexicanos", la cual se llevo acabo en los viñedos La Redonda. La verdad es que no había ido nunca a uno de estos eventos y me encantó. No soy muy fan de los vinos, pero siempre será un buen pretexto para juntar a la gente y disfrutar de un lindo día soleado.

Me gusta mucho que los mexicanos sigan promoviendo su arte, así como su comida y ahora su vino. Sé que llevamos poco en este rango, pero también se que están creando cosas muy buenas y que con el paso del tiempo, tendremos mas opciones para la gente que le gusta degustar este tipo de bebida.

Last Saturday I was invited to take photos at the festival "100 Mexican Wines", which was held in the vineyards La Redonda. The truth is that I never been to one of these events and I really enjoyed the experience. I'm not a big fan of wine, but it's always a good excuse to bring people together and enjoy a nice sunny day.

I love that Mexicans continue to promote their art, their food and now their wine. I know that we are kind of new in this area, but they are creating great things and that over time we will have more options for people who like to drink wine.

Que mejor que comer ricos quesos, probar vinos (espumosos, rosados, tintos y blancos), conocer productos orgánicos hechos a base de uvas y olivos... Sentarse y disfrutar del paisaje mientras comes rica paella y compartes el día entero con tus amigas.

What better than eat delicious cheese, wine tasting (sparkling, rose, red and white), known organic products made from grapes and olive trees... Sit back and enjoy the landscape while eating paella and share the day with friends.

A beautiful Day

Creo que merece la pena hablar del día de ayer. Como muchos otros días, me toco ir a tomar fotos por el centro de la ciudad. Siempre es un lujo poder ir y caminar por las calles del centro, me encanta ver las calles llenas de gente, admirar la arquitectura y simplemente perderme un poco disfrutando del paisaje.

Hace mucho que no me daba el tiempo para hacerlo y como siempre, goce cada paso que daba, mientras tomaba fotos "de trabajo". El día fue hermoso, el sol estaba en todo su esplendor y el cielo era azul vibrante acompañado de nubes en forma de algodón.

Es tan rico cuando empiezas a sentir que ya viene la primavera... y todavía mas rico, absorber esos rayitos de sol. 

Amo poder salir de casa y hacer lo que mas me gusta..., fotografiar mi alrededor a través de la cámara.

I think it´s worth while to talk about yesterday afternoon. Like many other days, I had to go to the city center and take pictures. It is always a treat to go and walk around the streets of downtown. I love seeing the crowded streets, admire the architecture and somehow get lost to enjoy the landscape.

It´s been a while that I didn't have the time to do so and yesterday I had the chance to really enjoy it, while taking pictures "for work". It was a beautiful day, the sun was amazing and the sky was vibrant blue with cotton shaped , bright white clouds.

It's so nice when you start feeling that Spring is coming! I love being able to go out and do what I like... capture my surroundings through my camera.
