Alice + Olivia RTW Fall 2013

For the ones of you that don't know, I'm currently working at NY Fashion Week and I'm super happy to tell you that since this started I could attend quite some runways and a lot of back stages like Lacoste, By Misha, Tibi, Helmut Lang, Candela, and some many others...

I have a lot of work to do, so I could not find the time to post anything, until now!... Yesterday night I had the opportunity to take pictures at the presentation of Alice + Olivia (ready to wear) Fall 2013 collection and I must say it was fantastic... I loved Stacey Bendet's world in sequins, studs and brocade!!

Ever since I got to know this brand I consider myself a huge fan of the designs and this time it was no exception, I found all the fun pieces a girl could dream of! Check out a selection of my most beautiful shots!

Hola! Aquí estoy de nuevo, queriendo compartir un video increíble que hizo un amigo para mi...

En esta ocasión no estuve detrás de la cámara y debo de decir que fue un ejercicio bastante interesante el saber que alguien mas tenia toda la escena de lo que estaba pasando. Aunque me considero una persona muy abierta, fue un poco desafiante hablar de mi misma y actuar enfrente de la cámara.

En palabras simples, este video muestra una parte de mi, la cual quiero compartir con ustedes... Esta soy yo!

Hi there, it's me! I want it to share an amazing video that my friend made for me...

This time I wasn't behind the camera, and I most say that it's was an interesting exercise to feel that somebody else had the hall perspective of what was happening. Although I consider my self very open, it was a little challenging to talk about myself and act in front of a camera.

In simple words, this video shows a part of me that I want to share with you... This is me!

I always think that art is simply a way to express our ideas in a creative way. As an artist, we have the chance to expose an idea in several ways. For me is refreshing to see pieces of fragments that inspire me to capture new things.

I use this blog to collaborate with other people that believe in this metamorphosis; people that are concerned about the projection that they have in every collaboration with other artists.

Nicholas Alan Cope is known to take stunning architectural pictures, but for this occasion only, he had the opportunity to collaborate with his fellow photographer, Dustin Edward Arnold. They wanted to express themselves by blending their skills together. Their work includes various studies in experimental techniques, mixing chemistry with painting, installations and fashion design. Vedas is a series that reflects their emotions through these studies, expressing sci-fi fashion perfection.

Primero que nada quiero desearle el mejor Año Nuevo, con la esperanza de que comiencen con el pie derecho!

La gente ya comenzó con muchos proyectos nuevos, y es por eso que para mi primer post del año, quiero hablar de uno de mis blogs favoritos. Fashion Gone Rogue va a comenzar a imprimir su revista y estoy muy emocionada por ello! Ya era tiempo que este blog propusiera sus propias editoriales. Este blog se especializa en mostrar diferentes editoriales de las revistas mas reconocidas en el mundo de la moda, así como de las pasarelas más importantes del mundo, sin dejar a un lado las campañas de marcas internacionales.

He visto algunas de las fotos que van a aparecer en esta primera edición, así que elegí una de mis favoritas para mostrarla en el blog.

Las fotos están inspiradas en el estilo punk rock, mezclando un poco de sobriedad en las poses y el estilo de la ropa. Jeff Tse es el encargado en captar la historia de la primera edición de FGR. Usando tapas futuristas y brillantes accesorios, Nadya Trofimova encanta en los diseños de Rag and Bone, Marni, Vandevorst AF, Masion Martin Margiela, Jean Paul Gaultier y otros.

First of all I would like to wish you the best New Year ever, hoping that you start off on the right foot! 

Some people already began with new projects so, for my first post of the year I want to talk about one of my favorite blogs. Fashion Gone Rogue is going to start printing their print magazine and I'm so excited about it because we are going to have more editorials that shows a different perspective about fashion. The blog's main focus is showing a variety of publications, including the most recognized magazines in the worls of fashion, fashion week runways and a selections of the most successful international brand campaigns. So I think it's an excellent idea for them to start creating their own vision of fashion!

I saw some of the photos that are going to appear for this first edition and I chose one of my favorites to show it on the blog.

The photos are inspired by punk rock style, mixing some soberness into the poses and the styling. Jeff Tse has been chosen to captures the story of FGR's first edition. Wearing futuristic tops and glittering accessories, Nadya Trofimova enchants in the designs of Rag and Bone, Marni, A.F. Vandevorst, Masion Martin Margiela, Jean Paul Gaultier and others.
